Strategy

• Another very hard location to defend. If your opponent reveals second and puts a character down, the character across from it is destroyed.
• Because of that, players often don't play here at all. The only characters that end up here are usually ones that land via a summon.
• It's almost better not to put any characters here until late in the game.
• You can sometimes score a sneaky win by ignoring The Gallows all game, then in a later round putting a bunch of characters here. If your opponent is busy defending another location, nobody is here to stop you breaking the barrier. I pulled this off in a match today.
