The Hill
What it does
After combat, if there is more than one character here, destroy ALL characters who share the lowest power.
Strategy
- "Power" here means attack. After combat, if there's more than one character here, all characters tied for the lowest attack are destroyed.
- Like The Gallows, most players avoid this location entirely.
- That opens a sneaky path to a barrier win. Get a single low-key character here, like a 2/2. It could come from a summon, or from something like Off With Your Head!, where one of the copies lands here.
- Because most players ignore The Hill, that lone character can quietly do a lot of work. By the time they react, the barrier may be almost dead.
- It hits both players' characters. Only the lowest attack dies. With a 7/7, a 5/5, and several 1-attack characters here, all the 1-attack characters are destroyed, and the 5/5 and 7/7 live on that turn.
- You can use it to pop a Golden Egg. If there's already another character here, drop your egg. It dies after combat, and you have a 5/5 Golden Goose ready for the next turn.
